The History
Fox Theatricals has become one of the nation's premier theatrical producing organizations. Fox Theatricals
is currently co-producing the new musical Thoroughly Modern Millie on
Broadway. Fox Theatricals co-produced David Dillon's Party in New York and Los Angeles, and the Chicago
production of the Delany Sisters' Having Our Say, which won the prestigious 1996 Joseph Jefferson
Award for Best Play and Best Director.
Beside producing, Fox Theatricals also specializes in theatrical general management and facility operation and management.
Fox Theatricals has managed and operated all of Chicago's finest off-loop theaters including the Apollo, the Royal George
and the Victory. Fox Theatricals currently operates Briar Street Theater, the largest of the off-loop houses.
Fox Theatricals has also produced some of the most successful long-running hits in Chicago, including Neil Simon's
Lost in Yonkers (1 1/2 years) and Lend Me a Tenor (2 1/2 years). Other productions include
David Mamet's Oleanna, Marlo Thomas in John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation, Neil Simon's Laughter on the
23rd Floor, Neil Simon's London Suite, and Prelude to a Kiss.
